Garden Days 6x6 oil on panel
This past week I had the privilege of attending a workshop with California Impressionist painter John Cosby. I traveled to Cape Cod Massachusetts for this. John comes to the Cape to teach once every two years. It is a 6 hour drive for me from my house.
I learned an amazing amount from this talented painter and teacher. I got a chance to try out some new painting methods that will be very helpful to me as I continue on. John's lessons on values, composition,and edges were just some of the important things covered.
It is always so much fun to be around and work along side other painters and share some of the workshop experiences together.

Wow great Sandy I want to see the real thing I likethe movement in the man rowing the boat- its your us of the purple grays that bring his shape to life!
